Stanford University Lecture by Jason Kelly Johnson

Join us at The Hub at Stanford Research Park (3215 Porter Dr.) on Wednesday, September 24 (5:30 PM – 7:30 PM PM PDT) for Leonardo Art Science Evening Rendezvous (LASER).

The program, chaired by cultural historian Piero Scaruffi, features short, thought-provoking talks and open discussion on the intersections of art, science, and technology.

Speakers include:
- Jason Kelly Johnson (Futureforms) – Futureforms: Digital Craft
- Takako Fujioka (Stanford) – Joint coordination and improvisation in music
- Jared Moore (Stanford) – The realities and illusions of AI

JASON KELLY JOHNSON (born 1973, Canada) is lead artist and founding partner of FUTUREFORMS. He brings an expertise in computational design and advanced digital fabrication, produced through the lens of critical art production and public space advocacy. Jason was born and raised in Canada. He received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia, and a Masters of Architecture from Princeton University. Johnson is currently a full Professor at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA. where he is the Founding Director of the CCA Digital Craft Lab.
