SPRING 2026 NEWS & EXHIBITION
SPRING 2026 NEWS

It’s been a while since our last newsletter—a time filled with focused studio work, ambitious installations, and projects that have pushed us in inspiring new directions. We’re excited to reconnect and share some of what has been unfolding behind the scenes: new work taking shape, meaningful collaborations, and ideas that have been steadily gaining momentum.

Join us for a lecture and exhibition closing on Thursday 3/19 (see below for more information)!

Thank you for staying connected to our studio and for being part of this growing community.

Cheers,
Nataly & Jason

OUT OF THE STUDIO \\

We are excited to share that the first solo exhibition of our work is open for viewing for a few more days. METAXIS: A Collection of Ideas and Objects by Futureforms  draws on multiple modes of representation to document our creative process over the last 10 years. The exhibition is structured like a studio visit, with process models and prototypes exhibited alongside recently completed work. It illustrates how our practice brings together knowledge and tools from multiple disciplines—art, architecture, computational design, and more. METAXIS is on display at the California College of the Arts Campus Gallery through March 20th, before heading to the east coast.

If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, please join us for a lecture and closing reception on March 19th.

LAST CALL! \\

LEVIATHAN: We believe in our city and the power of art to transform our surroundings and catalyze change. We have partnered with San Francisco's Moscone Center and SF Travel to activate a highly visible storefront located at 250 3rd Street (between Howard St and Folsom St) with a dynamic site-specific installation. Leviathan, a digitally crafted sculpture, is temporarily occupying the space until June 15th 2026. Leviathan was prominently visible during recent Superbowl LX events in San Francisco, and will be on display for a few more months. Read an article about the project.

RECENT WORK  \\

CONTINUUM, our second project on the Intuitive Surgical campus in Sunnyvale, CA, was recently installed. Continuum is a site specific sculpture activated by the environment and people walking, biking and driving past it. The overall form of the sculpture and twisting central portal appears unstable and dynamically evolves depending on the position of the sun and the viewer.

COMING SOON \\

KIMSEY GROVE is a sculptural shade canopy that establishes a dynamic focal point for the entrance to a new hotel in Scottsdale Arizona's Old Town. While the artwork evokes the orange groves that previously grew on the site, it also references the pleated geometries of the saguaro cactus and colorful desert flower blooms. The sculpture's kaleidoscopic skin explores the capacity of skin to also act as structure. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for April 23, 2026. Photos coming soon!
STRETTO: Fabrication has begun on Stretto, a sculptural shade canopy that is part of a new concert venue at OCVIBE in Anaheim, CA. Foundations have been poured and structural steel is being fabricated! We are super excited to see this project go into construction!
LEVITT PAVILION SAN JOSE: Construction documents are complete! The city of San Jose is making progress with the development of the Levitt Pavilion in St.James Park, which will transform an underused space into a music venue, garden, monument walk, dog park and playground. In recent news, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak joined the capital campaign as honorary co-chair. Collaborators include CMG Landscape Architecture, Arup and Page & Turnbull.

THE TEAM \\

We are thrilled to welcome Jared Elizares in the role of Studio Coordinator. Jared comes with a wealth of experience and an incredibly diverse background in art, architecture, photography and design. We look forward to introducing him to you all!

THANK YOU \\

Our special thanks always go to our amazing team of designers, artists, makers and all-round mavericks who design and make beautiful things. And special thanks to Jaime Austin and her team for making the METAXIS exhibition possible, as well as our colleagues at the California College of the Arts who came to celebrate with us!
